 I like to look at places while they're resting, not being used, not being altered. For me there's something about a space without busy bodies running through it that makes me feel tranquil. Even the dirtiest, busiest places can feel like a still life under the right circumstances. Sometimes just the smallest trace of human contact is enough, some high heels, fingertips, a solitary figure walking away.

From time to time I do portrait work but I prefer to shoot things as they occur naturally. I don't like to set up shoots and I don't do a lot of alterations in post. I want to sneak up on you and catch you sleeping.

I want to know what things would look like if no one were looking..
